Chris Jape has been fishing and exploring the waters of Wisconsin for a majority of his life. He grew up fishing on the legendary Menominee River for smallmouth and has learned a lot of it’s secrets in the last 30 + years of fishing it. He has traveled across the country from the legendary trout streams in the mountain west to the deep south in search of giant bass. If it swims in the water he enjoys finding out how to make it eat a fly. He now lives in northeast Wisconsin with his wife and daughter, who currently holds the family largest smallmouth record (for now).
